CEO Troy Rudd, President Lara Poloni and Asia Regional Chief Executive Ian Chung convened leaders and influencers from Singapore’s private and public sectors for our “Delivering Sustainable Legacies – Today, Tomorrow, Together” symposium to discuss critical resiliency and sustainability challenges and the solutions that could best address them.

The symposium was held 13 February 2023 at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and coincided with the visit of our global executive team to Singapore.

During the event, our President Lara Poloni spoke with guest of honor S Iswaran, Singapore’s Minister for Transport and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, about the country’s transportation plans in the context of the Singapore Green Plan 2030. They also explored managing sustainability threats in cities around the world, opportunities to tap into Singapore’s innovations in infrastructure planning and exporting local expertise to other markets.

The symposium then featured a panel discussion on how organizations can achieve decarbonization targets through a well-rounded approach that includes board-level commitments, talent development and stakeholder engagement.

The panel was moderated by Scott Dunn, chief strategy officer of our Asia region, with panelists Robert Hennessy, vice president of Group Civil Engineering for PSA International; Tan Sze Tiong, group director/ chief sustainability officer for Building & Research Institute (BRI) and the Housing & Development Board (HDB); Jee Yi Yng, our Singapore country representative; Frank Sweet, our Environment global business Line chief executive; and Richard Whitehead, our Buildings + Places global business line chief executive.
