Sarah Urbanowicz is Chief Information Officer at AECOM (NYSE:ACM), the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.

In this role, Ms. Urbanowicz leads Information Technology (IT) for the enterprise and is responsible for the development and execution of the global IT strategy, including overseeing its infrastructure and operations, information security and compliance, enterprise application portfolio, IT procurement, and digital portfolio management.

Previously, Ms. Urbanowicz was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at AECOM, and was responsible for enterprise information security strategy, architecture and operations. Before joining AECOM, Ms. Urbanowicz served as CISO at Hess Corporation where she was responsible for enterprise IT security strategy and operations.

Ms. Urbanowicz holds an Honors Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has completed several leadership development programs including Accelerate, AECOM’s executive leadership program, and Business Leadership Development I & II at Texas A&M, Mays Business College.

Ms. Urbanowicz’s depth of knowledge allows her to create high-functioning teams with the appropriate capabilities — both people and technology. She also leverages her breadth of experience and insight to deliver pragmatic, tactical solutions for the business. She has a holistic view of information technology that has allowed her to align security posture and strategy with the broader goals of the enterprise.
